The 2011 cruise was one of our best yet, so why change a good thing? The 2012 cruise will follow the same route from Cadillac Way through Nelson City via Stoke and Wakatu, around the waterfront to Tahunanui.
Entrants will get a free Pestells sausage from the BBQ at the destination, why not bring a picnic dinner and make the most of the Nelson summer weather?
Each year we try to add something new and provide some variety for spectators. This year we're pleased to announce that MotoXEvents will be attending the show and putting on some demonstration bike jumps to wow the crowd!
Demonstrations are expected to run both days, you can find MotoXEvents on Facebook - add 'MotoX' to your groups.
This isn't strictly show-related but still something near to the heart of local motoring enthusiasts!
You may have heard about the possibility of a Motorsport and Adventure Park in the Nelson region, which is a facility we are sorely lacking at present.
A new Incorporated Society has been formed to support this endeavour which is currently in the Resource Consent application phase. Find out more and become a member at www.centralmotorsport.org.nz
The burnouts will be back again in 2012!
Winner takes all with a first prize of $1,000 thanks to Sturgeon's Amusements!
The event will run under the same Resource Consent as 2011, to the same conditions. Open competition will be on Saturday 11th February between 12pm and 3pm, entrants should be on site by 11am with their vehicle and a copy of the entry form (copies will be available on site too). Entry will be on a first come first served basis.
We're pleased to announce that the Krazy Katz will once again be playing some live Rock 'n' Roll at the Show on Sunday 12th!

Online pre-registrations are now open for the 2012 Show. Click here to register!
The dates have been set for the 2012 show, being 11th and 12th February.
We are also pleased to announce that the venue will remain the same for 2012, and the committee wishes to thank the new Speight's Ale House for their support.
Each year the Nelson Car Show looks to donate any excess funds not required for the following year's show to a worthy charity. The 2011 show was quite successful, and we are pleased to be able to support the following charities this year.
The 2011 show is now over, with a little under 300 registered (and a few more unregistered) show vehicles making it the biggest show to date!
Around 3300 spectators came through the gates over the two days to enjoy the vehicles on show, burnouts, rockabilly band the 'Krazy Katz', V8 Supercar simulator, trade stalls, monster truck rides, kids amusements, food and drink, fine weather, and much more!
The Nelson Car Show committee would like to thank:
